Australian mineral explorer Emperor Mines Limited reported on Wednesday gold-silver assays from the Tujuh Bukit Project in East Java.

Early drill results, which have delivered a maximum gold assay of up to 27.2 gram per ton, are confirming the geometry and scale of a new gold-silver cap overlaying a significant copper-gold system, the company said.

CEO Brad Gordon, said the results had the potential to deliver a company- making project.

Diamond drilling commenced at the Tumpangpitu Prospect inside the Project area on 20 September 2007 and to date six holes have been completed for 2600 meters.

A seventh hole is nearing completion with the next round of drill results expected during February.

The company has commissioned a second drilling rig, which is currently being mobilised to the area and will commence additional drilling in early February. (denny)
