Energi Mega plans to almost double production next year

PT Energi Mega Persada is targeting production to reach 60,000 boepd next year, with the Kangean and Offshore North West Java (ONWJ) blocks among the biggest contributors.
If achieved, it would almost double this year?s production, which is estimated to average 34,000 boepd until the end of the year, said President Director Imam Agustino during a company?s gathering on Thursday.
Without mentioning price assumptions, Imam added that next year?s production would generate around US$760 million in sales, from this year?s estimate of $480 million.
At present, Energi Mega is involved in 8 PSC and 2 technical assistance contracts (TAC), as well as 2 PSC CBM. The contracts are Gebang JOB PSC, Malacca Straits PSC, Sungai Gelam TAC, Semberah TAC, Tanga PSC, Bentu PSC, Korinci Baru PSC, ONWJ PSC, Kangean PSC, Masela PSC, Sangatta-2 CBM PSC and Tabulako CBM PSC.
