Energy Collier buys Resource Alam shares for Rp 1.07 trillion

Energy Collier bought 152.67 million shares of Resource Alam (Rain Group) and Tektron Holdings Ltd worth Rp 793.9 billion or Rp 5.200 per share.
The deal was completed on July 5th, 20111.
Additionally, Energy Collier also bought 53.78 million shares of Resource Alam that were owned by Explorer Investments Inc for Rp 285.07 billion or Rp 5.300 per share. The deal was closed on July 6, 2011.
?The acquisition of shares was for investment,? said Energy Collier's Director Juan Oliva Bosch in a statement on Monday.
With the latest deal, Energy Colliers's ownership in Resource Alam has increased to 31.3 percent from, 10.7 percent.
Other shareholders are Deutsche Bank AG Singapore A/C (10.47%), DBS Singapore-PWM A/C Goodwin Investment Pte Ltd (18.48%) and JP Morgan Bank Luxembourg S.A.RE JP Morgan Pte Ltd A/C (6%).
Energy Collier currently operates marketing office for its coal concession in Samarinda, East Kalimantan.
The firms offer coal with heating value from 5.000 kcal/kg to 7.000 kcal/kg. (romel)
