Energy Kinan, Bumi Lesugolo to conduct preliminary geothermal survey

Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry has appointed PT Energy Kinan International and PT Bumi Lesugolo Energi to carry out preliminary survey on two areas to try to find out their geothermal potentials.
The appointment is stipulated under Ministerial Decree No. 2491 K/30/MEM/2013 and No. 2492 K/30/MEM/2013, respectively, according to a copy of the decrees which was made available to petromindo.com on Tuesday.
Energy Kinan will conduct the survey on a total of 67,420 ha area in Tasikmalaya, West Java. Bumi Lesugolo will carry out the survey on a 21,330 ha area in Lesugolo-Lowogero, Ende regency, East Nusa Tenggara.
The survey must be conducted within the next 12 months and cannot be transfered to other parties.
