Energy World Corp: Sengkang LNG Project update

(Jan 29, 2010)--Information contained in a newspaper article in the Jakarta Post dated 29 January 2010 suggests that BPMIGAS has rejected a plan of development (POD) for the Sengkang LNG plant on the grounds that the proposal as submitted is incomplete.

We wish to inform shareholders that the Company has not received any formal advice from BPMIGAS that reflects this position: the Company is seeking clarification in connection with the comments contained in the newspaper article. (end of announcement)
