Enerkon wins PGN?s gas booster project

State gas distribution company PGN has named PT Erraenersi Konstruksindo (Enerkon) as the winner of the company?s tender to provide Project Management Consultancy (PMC) for the construction of a gas booster station in Terbanggi Besar, North Lampung

The contract for consultancy works for the gas booster project was signed in Jakarta on Wednesday.

PGN director for technology and development Jobi Triananda Hasjim said that the project would play a significant role in the future development of the gas distribution through the South Sumatra-Java gas pipeline.

"With the construction of the gas booster station, PGN will be able to increase the gas supply through the South Sumatra-Java gas pipeline in the future,? he said after the signing of the contract.

Jobi said that the operation of the gas booster station will also support PGN?s plan to build a floating storage and re-gasification unit (FSRU) in Lampung. (romel)
