ENI Lasmo gets ISO 14001 certificate

ENI Lasmo Indonesia, a subsidiary of Italian oil, gas firm ENI S.p.A, said on Monday it had been awarded ISO 14001 certificate from international certification agency ERM for its achievements in environmental management.
ENI Lasmo Indonesia has been in operation in Indonesia since 1982, and currently it carries out oil and gas exploration and production in several regions including North Sumatra, East Kalimantan, and Papua. It cooperates with BP Plc, VICO, and Unocal in some oil and gas production projects.
ENI is involved in oil and gas, electricity generation and petrochemical sectors and engineering business. It is 33.3 percent owned by the Italian government. (godang)
