The company said in a rig tender announcement that 5 wells would be drilled starting second quarter of 2006 with more wells possible.
Eni is the operator and 55 percent interest holder of Bukat block, while Unocal Corp. which has just merged with Chevron holds the remaining balance.
The block lies near the disputed Ambalat block, which is disputed by Indonesia and Malaysia.
