Eni's PoD-I for Jambu Air Utara signed

The Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Minister Jero Wacik has approved the first Plan of Develpment (PoD I) of Jambu Air Utara field in Krueng Mane PSC, offshore Aceh, operated by Italy's Eni Spa.
Director General for Oil and Gas at the ministry Evita Legowo said the field's PoD I was signed last week.
The PoD-I of the field has been signed by the upstream authority BPMIGAS earlier. Under the existing regulation the first PoD of a PSC has to be approved by the ESDM Minister. Approval of the subsequent PoDs are given by the Director General for Oil and Gas.
Gas production from the field is estimated at between 200 mmscfd and 250 mmscfd. Initial gas production is expected to take place in 2013.
