ENI selling interest in Aceh block to Blue Sky

Italian oil and gas firm ENI S.p.A. is in the process of selling a part of its interest in the Krueng Mane block offshore Aceh, which includes the Jambu Aye Utara (JAU) gas project, to Blue Sky Oil and Gas Ltd., according to an industrial source.
?ENI is currently discussing the farm-out of the block with Blue Sky. ENI offered up to 30 percent of its interest,? the source told Petromindo.com on Monday.
The Krueng Mane block, whose contract was signed in September 1999, is located approximately 50 km north of the Arun LNG plant. ENI has a 85 percent interest in the block with the balance held by South Korean firm KOGAS.
Blue Sky through its subsidiary Blue Sky Langsa Ltd. owns a working interest in Langsa TAC (Technical Assistance Contract) located offshore North Sumatra.
