Eni submits Aceh POD

Upstream oil and gas regulator BPMIGAS said that Indonesian unit of Italian oil and gas firm Eni SpA has submitted plan of development (POD) for its Jambu Air Utara (JAU) field in Krueng Mane PSC offshore Aceh.
BPMIGAS? spokesman Elan Biantoro told Petromindo.Com on Thursday that the POD, which was submitted by Eni early this year is currently being evaluated. Among of the items being evaluated include the government?s take.
The POD evaluation is expected to be completed this year, he added.
Krueng Mane is located approximately 50 km north of the Arun LNG plant. Eni has currently 100 percent interest in the block
Krueng Mane block has proven undeveloped reserves of 183 billion cubic feet within the JAU Field and exploration potential of at least 4.5 trillion cubic feet reserves in the three main prospects (BSN, Safir & Emerald).(bernard)
