Eni to commence deepwater drilling campaign Oct

Italian oil firm Eni SpA is scheduled to commence drilling campaign in deepwater Bukat PSC, East Kalimantan, a BP MIGAS official said Friday.
BPMIGAS operations deputy chairman told Petromindo.Com the rig is currently being moved to the drilling location with a view to commence drilling late October.
US drilling company Transocean early October announced to have secured 6-month drilling contract for its semi-submersible rig Transocean Legend for drilling operations offshore Indonesia for Eni.
Dodi said Eni would commence campaign by drilling Tulip well, followed by four other wells.
Eni has 100 percent working interest in the block after acquiring 45 percent of Chevron Corp.?s interest earlier this year.
The block?s partnership had earlier drilled 3 exploratory wells in the block, which indicated hydrocarbon shows. (godang)
