ENI to conduct 2D marine seismic survey on E. Kalimantan Bukat PSC

ENI Bukat Limited, a subsidiary of Italian oil, gas firm ENI S.p.A, has planned to acquire a total of 1,000 kilometers of 2D marine seismic data over the Bukat exploration block offshore East Kalimantan, according to the company?s bidding invitation on Thursday.
?The survey(s) shall be acquired in Survey North consisting of an estimated number of 600 kilometers and Survey South consisting of an estimated 400 kilometers,? said ENI, adding that the acquisitions were scheduled during August ? September.
Bukat production sharing contract (PSC) is located in the deepwater part of the Tarakan Basin, East Kalimantan. ENI is operator with 55 percent of working interest in the block, while its joint venture partner Unocal holds the remaining 45 percent. (robert)
