Ensco bags Chevron drilling contact

UK-based drilling contractor Ensco annnounced that it has recently bevreen awarded contract from Chevron for its semi-submersible rig Ensco 8504.
The company said that the rig is currently mobilizing to Indonesia and is expected to operate late March until early July this year with daily rate of around US$270,000 per day.
Lumpsum fee of around $8 million for mobilization, accepatence testing and rig loadout to be amortized over the primary contract term, it said.
