SKK Migas stated that works on the EPC-1 project in Cepu block have been 66.4 percent completed.
Head of Monitoring and Control of SKK Migas, the upstream oil and gas authority, Iman Nurkamal told Petromindo.com on Monday that almost all critical permits have been secured from the Bojonegoro regency administration. Thus, the EPC 1 contractor is now facing no permit-related obstacles for construction work.
"We hope the Cepu block oil production can be achieved over 100,000 bpd in the fourth quarter of 2014," said Iman.
The issue now is how to ensure the EPC contractor can complete the project on target.
