The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works and preparation of temporary facilities at the Pondok Makmur field in the Tambun block, in Bekasi, West Java operated by PT Pertamina EP (PEP), a subsidiary of state owned company PT Pertamina (Persero) are in progress, already covering about 8,5 percent of the targeted works.
?The progress of the EPC works for the Pondok Makmur field is now 8.5 percent, (which is a bit a slow) due to unfavorable weather conditions,? General Manager of Pondok Makmur at PEP Arief Wahidin told Petromindo.com on Monday.
But, he admitted that the project will be completed in November of 2014 as targeted.
The field is expected to produce 2,500 bpd of crude oil and 20 mmscfd of gas. The EPC works at the field were kicked off in June 2013 with the consortium of PT Raga Perkasa Ekaguna, as the contractor.
