EPC of Donggi Senoro LNG 97% completed

The progress of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) works of Donggi Senoro LNG plant project in Central Sulawesi owned by PT Donggi Senoro LNG (DSLNG) has reached 97 percent up to February 2014.

?The EPC works have been 97 percent completed, compared to 94 percent planned,? said Corporate Affairs Director of PT DSLNG Andy Karamoy to Petromindo.com adding that all of the main equipment are already in place.

He said the firm is now doing the electrical and mechanical works. ?Other facilities like LNG jetty are also near completion,? he said.

According to him, the plant is scheduled for completion by the end of 2014.

DSLNG is a joint venture comprising state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero), Indonesian publicly-listed firm PT Medco Energi Internasional and Japanese firm Mitsubishi Corporation.

The Donggi Senoro LNG plant will have a total production capacity of 2.1 million tons per annum, and will obtain its gas supply from the Senoro and Matindok gas fields.

Separately, Medco's President Director Lukman Mahfoedz noted that the progress of the upstream Senoro project is currently in line with the plan.

?Now the Senoro gas field development project has been 60 percent completed. I'm optimistic that the initial gas production of the Senoro field can happen at the end of this year,? he said.

According to him, JOB Pertamina-Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi (JOBPMTS), which is the operator of the Senoro gas field in Senoro Toili block, Central Sulawesi plans to deliver gas to the Donggi Senoro LNG plant starting January next year, amounting to 250 mmscfd
