Mobil Cepu Limited, a subsidiary of ExxonMobil Indonesia, is preparing to hold EPC tender for the construction of well pad facility at the Kedung Keris field in Cepu block, Bojonegoro, East Java Province.

The EPC tender is expected to be opened in the first quarter (Q1) of next year. ?Construction of the well pad is expected to be completed and start operation also in 2018. There will be only one well pad there, and production will be distributed via pipeline to Central Production Unit in Banyu Urip at Cepu block,? said Vice President of Public and Government Affairs at ExxonMobil Indonesia, Erwin Maryoto to Petromindo.com on Friday.

According to information obtained by Petromindo.com, one of the companies interested in the EPC tender is state-owned engineering company PT Rekayasa Industri.

PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PEPC), an indirect subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, said in June that the Kedung Keris field is scheduled to be on stream in the fourth quarter of 2018.

Production is expected to reach around 20,000 bpd.

PEPC holds a 45 percent interest in the Cepu block. ExxonMobil Cepu Ltd (EMCL) holds another 45 percent interest in the block as operator, while the remaining 10 percent are held by minority local investors.
