EPC works at Sumpal Expansion Project almost completed

The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) works at the Sumpal Expansion Project in the Corridor block, onshore South Sumatra, which is operated by ConocoPhillips Indonesia (Grissik) Ltd, has been almost completed, said an official of upstream authority SKK Migas.

Division Head for Inspection of Realization of Field Development Plan at SKK Migas, Nugrahani told Petromindo on Monday, that the project said the progress of the EPC works have reached 96.09 percent and the project has come onstream (early gas) on Nov. 22, 2013.

Meanwhile, she said, the development of the Condensate Storage Tank project is projected to be completed in the second quarter of 2014 or April 2014.

"Now the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) works of the project has reached 81.87 percent," she said.

The expansion project will bring the Sumpal field gas output to 150 mmscfd.
