EPCI works for platform in WMO block half finished

The progress of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI)-1 works for platform at the West Madura Offshore block in East Java have currently reached 50 percent, according to a top official of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO), operator of the block.

?EPCI-1 works for platform in WMO block have now reached 50 percent. We hope this year the EPCI-1 will be completed,? President and GM Sri Budiyani told Petromindo.com.

The EPCI contractor for this project is a consortium of PT Gunanusa Utama Fabricators and PT Timas Suplindo, she said.

According to official website of PT Gunanusa, the facilities to be developed at the block under the EPCI-1 contract consist of:
- A Central Process Platform (CPP2), with a four leg jacket
- Two wellhead platforms consist of: PHE-12 and PHE-24, with two new braced monopod jacket
- Bridge linked from CPP2 to KE-5 CPP Platform
- KE-5 CPP Brownfield Modification Project
