Epic appoints Salva as geological consultant

Australia-listed firm Epic Resources Limited appointed PT Salva Resources Indonesia (Salva) as independent geological consultant to assist with technical review and conducting due diligence for Epic?s coal project in East Kalimantan.

The company said in a statement that Salva Resources had commenced a desktop based project evaluation to establish a field reconnaissance exploration program aimed to define the location and extent of the prospective coal formations within the project area.

Salva is preparing geological and structural map using satellite data and historical exploration data.

Epic Resources, meanwhile has commenced community consultation with local villagers to provide assistance in the provision of local labor and material to support exploration efforts within the project area.
