ESCAP meeting on energy in Bali

The Indonesian government in cooperation with the United Nations' Economic and Social Commission for Asia Pacific (ESCAP) will host an international meeting on energy development in Bali for two days from Wednesday to Thursday.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said in a statement the High Level Meeting on Energy for Sustainable Development would be attended by representatives of 52 country members of ESCAP and 14 representatives of international organizations.

Vice President Megawati Soekarnoputri was expected to open the meeting, the ministry said. (*)
