Essar says Indonesian coal mine to start production Q4

Indian firm Essar Energy plc reported on Monday that its Aries coal mine in Indonesia is expected to start production in the fourth quarter of this year.
?The mine will provide fuel for the Salaya I power station and is currently progressing through its approval process ahead of the commencement of mining,? the company said.
The acquisition of the Aries coal mine in East Kalimantan, comprising 64 million tonnes of mineable reserves, was completed in April 2010.
The company did not give detail about production volume.(alex)
