PT Enviromate Technology International (ETI) is seeking to participate in the development of power transmission line projects planned by state-owned electricity company PT PLN as set out in its 2016-2025 electricity procurement plan (or RUPTL 2016-2025).
Suryadi Mardjoeki, an adviser at ETI, said on Wednesday the company is currently developing a 150 kV transmission line in Banten Province, which is expected to be completed in December of next year.
He added that ETI is looking to participate in a tender to be held by PLN for the development of a 500 kV transmission line in Yogyakarta. He said ETI will partner with PT Wanayasa Trans Energi.
Suryadi, former head of gas and fuel oil division at PLN, said that while ETI?s core business is in gas infrastructure, the company is determined to help PLN which has been facing difficulties in completing transmission line facilities. ?We?ll help PLN in resolving the transmission problem,? he said on the sidelines of the 71st National Electricity Day event.
