Euro Asia starts producing coal from Kotabaru

Coal mining and trading company PT. Euro Asia Exports & Industries, which is part of NG Group, started producing coal from its concession in Kota Baru, South Kalimantan earlier this month.

President Director of NG Group, Biju NG told Petromindo.com on Monday that the company is targeting a production of 25,000 tons in the first month and expecting to increase the output up to 40,000 per month in November and December 2013.

"In 2014 we will ramp up the production up to 100,000 ton per month," he said adding that most of the coal which has the calorific value of 57 GAR will be allocated for domestic market.
