EWC signs LNG supply MoU with Chinese firm

Australian firm Energy World Corporation Ltd (EWC) said Monday that the MoU called for LNG supply of up to 5 million tonnes per annum to the Chinese company, and supply would commence with the commissioning of EWC 1 million per annum proposed LNG plant in South Sulawesi. The quantity of LNG supplied will increase gradually as EWC?s production capacity expands, it said.

The agreement is expected to be for 15-20 year period with pricing formula taking into account prevailing LNG market price.

EWC is planning to build LNG plant with gas supply would come from EWC-operated Sengkang PSC in South Sulawesi.(alex)
