Ex-Berau Coal workers seek help from minister

Some 32 former workers of coal mining firm PT Berau Coal have sent a letter to the Minister of Manpower complaining about their problem with the former employer.

Zakaria Bakar, an ex-employee, said 32 workers were fired by Berau Coal and transferred to PT Roda Teknik by promising certain benefits but which were never realized until now.

The case is currently being processed by the Tanjung Redeb district court in East Kalimantan.(*)
