Ex-military chief named Pertamina?s chief commissioner

The government has appointed Endriatono Sutarto, former Indonesian military (TNI) chief, as chief commissioner of state owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro said the new chief commissioner, along with other new commissioners of the company, would be installed in a ceremony scheduled for Friday

Endriartono, a retired army general, is replacing Martiono Hadianto, who used to lead the firm as president director.

"(Good) managerial skill is needed to lead Pertamina," Purnomo said.

Other new commissioners are Maizar Rahman and Irnanda. (Godang)
