Exploitasi Energi signs deal to export coal to Malaysia

Indonesia-listed PT Exploitasi Energi Indonesia on Wednesday signed an MoU with Malaysia?s Aditia1Energy Sdn Bhd and Southdale Resources Sdn Bhd for the supply, delivery and sale of coal to Malaysia.

Executive Director of Aditia1Energy Ahmad Mukriz was quoted by the local press as saying that the three companies planned to forge a close and active relationship to supply, deliver, and sell up to three million tons of thermal coal per year to TNB Fuel Services Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia?s power firm Tenaga Nasional Bhd, in a multi-million ringgit transaction.

Aditia1Energy is part of Aditia Group of Companies, specializing in importing and exporting, trading, handling & transporting services for premium quality coal from Indonesia.

A partner to Aditia1Energy, Southdale Resources, which co-owns a 4500 acre brown field coal concession in Myanmar with a mine mouth 660 MW coal fired power plant licence, is an exclusive coal agent to PT Exploitasi Energi Indonesia Tbk for the supply of coal from Indonesia.(*)
