Expro secures wireline contract from Total

International oilfield service company Expro announced Friday it has secured a major mechanical wireline contract and completing a second topside package for an international customer in Indonesia.

Expro has agreed the mechanical wireline contract with Total E&P Indonesie for work on the eastern part of the island of Kalimantan. The contract is to perform specialised mechanical wireline services on the customer?s offshore wells.

Five wireline units are being supplied. Expro personnel will run the equipment.

Expro in Indonesia has also completed a second package to engineer, supply, install and commission a production topside system for an international customer.

The equipment consists of a 44,000 barrel per day, single lift process module to install on a customer?s floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.

Expro?s Production Systems team designed, engineered and supplied the complete process module from the Expro Batam base, with detailed engineering support from its Houston office.(alex)
