Exspan provides scholarship to Unmul

Oil and gas firm PT Exspan provided on Monday around Rp 36 million (US$1=Rp 9,500) in scholarship fund to students of the Mulawarman University (Unmul) in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, according to the local Samarinda Post daily.
The paper said that the scholarship was handed over by Exspan acting area manager Djasmanuddin W. in a ceremony.
Djasmanuddin said that the scholarship fund was part of the company's community development program.
He said that Exspan's policy was to increase the fund allocated for its community development program if the company's profit increased.(*)
