The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC)#1 and EPC#5 projects within the operational area of ExxonMobil Indonesia at the Cepu Block in Central Java had been disrupted by flood, upstream authority SKK Migas said.

SKK Migas has requested Mobil Cepu Limited (MCL), the subsidiary of ExxonMobil Indonesia, as the operator of the block, to quickly deal with the problem.

?MCL has said that currently there are no exploration activities at the block. The production operation of EPF has not been disrupted. Activity at the EPC#1 was at one point disrupted by floodwaters but it quickly subsided. The EPC#5, however, remains inundated by floodwaters,? Deputy for Operational Control at SKK Migas, Muliawan, told Petromindo.com Tuesday.

It has been reported that several areas in Bojonegoro, Central Java, have been hit by flood due to the overflowing of the Bengawan Solo River.

Muliawan, however, said that the Sukowati Field within the operational area of Petrochina East Java-PT Pertamina Hulu Energy in Bojonegoro was not inundated by floodwaters.
