PT ExxonMobil Indonesia (EMOI) said Friday that there was no guarantee that the company could fully resume its gas operation in the troubled Aceh province early next month.

EMOI spokeswoman Julia Tumengkol was quoted by the local Serambi Post as saying that the company would be able to resume full operation in early October if the remaining repair work went smoothly, and if security condition continue to improve.

?We want to move (resume full operation) quickly, but we can?t decide the exact schedule,? Julia said.

After several months of closure due to concern over security condition, EMOI had recently resumed operation of its cluster I, II, and IV.

State-owned oil and gas firm Pertamina official earlier said that EMOI should be able to resume operation the cluster III in early October following success in the operation of the three other clusters.(*)
