US oil major Exxon Mobil Corp. is offering companies the opportunity to participate in the exploration and possible development of an evolving, high potential, frontier basin in the deep water of Cendrawasih Bay, West Papua.

ExxonMobil is offering 25% non-operating interest in Cendrawasih PSC, according to international advisory services IndigoPool.

The Firm Commitment work program includes 1200 km2 3D seismic, which was acquired in mid-2010, and one exploration well which is currently planned for early-2013.

Qualified interested parties will be invited to attend a Physical Data Room in Jakarta , hosted by ExxonMobil, IndigoPool said.

Exxon has 1-well drilling commitment in the block, which was awarded in 2009.(alex)
