ExxonMobil awards scholarships to 4,660 students in Aceh

Oil and gas producer ExxonMobil Indonesia Inc. (EMOI) on Wednesday awarded scholarships to 4,660 students from Aceh province, which was a regular program carried out by the company over the past years, the company said.
Receivers of the scholarship were elementary and secondary school students from economically weak families.
The company did not mention the value of the scholarships awarded to the Aceh students.
So far, EMOI had also given significant support to other projects so as to improve the social and economic welfare of the Aceh people, according to company.
EMOI is the Indonesian unit of Exxon Mobil Corporation, a worldwide leader in the petroleum and petrochemical business.
EMOI holds a 100 percent contractor share and operates the Arun field in Aceh. (leo)
