ExxonMobil completes offshore W. Papua seismic survey

The Indonesian unit of US oil giant ExxonMobil Corp. has completed a 3D seismic survey at Cendrawasih exploration block, offshore West Papua
ExxonMobil Indonesia (EMOI) vice president Maman Budiman said on Wednesday that the 3D seismic survey with coverage area of 1,200 km2 was completed last week. ?At the moment the result is under evaluation,? he said.
The block was awarded to ExxonMobil through its unit Esso Exploration International Ltd, which is the operator of the block with a working interest of 75 percent and Biak Petroleum consortium in April 2009.
The consortium has an obligation to drill one well during three-year commitment in the block. (bernard)
