ExxonMobil continues production: BP Migas

Deputy operation of upstream oil and gas regulator BP Migas Dody Hidayat said ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia Inc. (EMOI) can continue production, unaffected by the heavy flooding that hit some of the company's facilities at the gas fields in Arun block, Aceh.
The flood has reportedly hit Cluster 3 and 4 of EMOI?s operation.
?The flood does not disrupt the operation of the company and it can continue production,? Dody told Petromindo.com on Saturday.
Dody said that the level of water that inundated the facilities started to gradually decline today, and at around 9 a.m. a meeting will be held in Lhok Sukon to prepare effective measures to handle the impact of the flood.
The flooding was caused by heavy rain that started to fall yesterday afternoon in North Aceh area. (Godang)
