ExxonMobil evaluating govt?s block tender

American oil and gas firm ExxonMobil is evaluating the 18 oil and gas blocks being offered by the government.
?Every time there is a block tender, we shall always carry out technical and commercial evaluation. If they (the offered blocks) fit our risk profile and compete with the global opportunity, we shall pursue,? ExxonMobil Indonesia Senior VP Exploration & External Relations Asep Sulaiman, without providing further details.
On Monday, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources announced the offer of 18 oil and gas blocks in various places across the country in the first Petroleum Bidding Round Year 213. The 18 blocks consist of 16 blocks offered though direct proposal mechanism and two through regular tender mechanism.
