ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia (EMOI) has managed to repair the leak in the pipeline that delivers natural gas from its fields to the Arun LNG plant in Aceh.
Company vice president of external relations Maman Budiman told Petromindo.Com on Thursday that as the repair works had been progressing well, the firm had resumed the usage of the 42-inch pipeline to deliver its gas.
?Today, the gas is delivered at the rate of 820 million cubic feet per day (MMCFD). In one or two days, we shall run at the normal rate of 900-950 MMCFD,? he said.
Following the incident on Friday, the firm used the 16-inch pipeline to deliver its gas and the supply dropped to 200 MMCFD.
EMOI is sole gas supplier to Arun NGL from its Aceh gas fields (Godang)
