ExxonMobil, Pertamina sign LNG sales contract

ExxonMobil Corp signed on Friday a 20-year LNG sales contract with Indonesian state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina to be effective in 2025.
The Directorate General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said in a statement obtained Saturday that the sales contract volume was for 1 million tons per year. No further details were provided.
Vice President of ExxonMobil Indonesia, Erwin Maryoto told Petromindo.com earlier Friday that Pertamina will allocate the LNG for state-owned electricity firm PT PLN and for own use.
The signing of the contract was made amid a visit by US Vice President Mike Pence to Indonesia.
