ExxonMobil?s Aceh gas production 1.6 BCFD

Indonesian unit of US oil, gas giant ExxonMobil?s natural gas and condensate production from its Aceh operations had more or less reached the same level before production stoppage last year, following the gas production resumption of Pase gas field.

?ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia?s (EMOI) current production had reached 1.6 billion cubic feet of gas per day plus over 20,000 barrels of condensate per day,? said EMOI?s media relations officer Deva Rachman in an e-mail response.

On March 4, EMOI resumed gas operation from its Pase gas field, which is the last gas field to be re-operated since EMOI closed down its Aceh operation due to security reason March last year.

EMOI feeds the entire natural gas requirement of Arun natural gas liquefaction (NGL) which exports LNG to Japan and South Korea and to several fertilizer firms and paper mills. (alex/godang)
