Indonesian unit of US oil and gas giant ExxonMobil said Friday that it had yet resumed gas operations in Cluster IV gas field in the troubled province of Aceh.
Earlier, a spokesperson from state oil and gas company Pertamina said that ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia (EMOI) had resumed cluster IV gas operations Thursday.
? Our earlier plan was to restart cluster IV on Thursday, but there has been some changes in our planning,? Julia Tumengkol, EMOI?s spokesperson told Petromindo.com through phone interview.
Julia said the delay was ?merely due to technical reasons?.
?We are hoping to be able to restart Cluster IV gas operation soon,? she said.
EMOI restarted partial gas production in July after shutting down for months due to security concerns. (alex)
