ExxonMobil to resume Cepu exploration drilling this year

Indonesian unit of US giant Exxon Mobil Corp. plans to resume exploration drilling activities at Cepu oil, gas Block this year, a company official said.

ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia VP for External relations Maman Budiman said that subject to rig availability, the company is targeting to drill three wells called Alas Tua West, Alas Tua East and Keris.

Maman said all the targets are located outside Banyu Urip field, which is currently being developed into one of Indonesia?s top oil producing field.(godang)
