ExxonMobil to soon resume production at cluster No. II

Spokesman of the state-owned oil and gas firm Pertamina, L. Harijanto, said Tuesday that ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia was currently repairing the gas cluster No. II which was suspended Saturday due to a small fire.
Harijanto told Petromindo.com that the repair work was expected to be completed soon to allow it to resume production immediately.
ExxonMobil suspended the gas production of the cluster II at its Arun gas fields in Aceh after a small fire caused damaged, but there was no injuries. The fire was believed to be sparked by mechanical fault.
Elsewhere, Harijanto said that production capacity at cluster No. IV and North Sumatra Offshore had been increased to 508 MMSCFD.(Godang)
