Fabrizio Trilli assumes top post at ENI Indonesia

Fabrizio Trilli has been appointed as the new President Director of NI Indonesia, replacing Luca De Caro, a source told Petromindo.com late Monday.
The source said that a farewell party for De Caro is scheduled to be held Tuesday evening at the Dharmawangsa Hotel in South Jakarta to be attended among others by senior officials of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
Trilli previously worked at ENI?s operations in the US, while De Caro will return to Milan, Italy, where ENI SPA is headquartered.
According to company website, ENI operates in Indonesia in onshore and offshore activities in the exploration and production sector. Activities are concentrated in the eastern offshore and onshore of East Kalimantan, offshore Sumatra, and offshore and onshore of West Timor and West Papua, over a developed and undeveloped acreage of 34,633 square kilometers (25,124 square kilometers net to ENI); in total, ENI holds interests in 14 blocks.
