Singapore based coal trading company PT Farlin Energy has set a target to double coal export from Indonesia this year, compared to last year's 3 million tons export.
Eric Ng, Indonesia Country Manager of Farlin Energy told Petromindo.com on Monday that the company has exported about 3 million tons during the first half of this year. "We expect to export about 5-6 million tons this year," he said, adding that most of coal cargoes went to India.
Ng said that half of the coals came from mines in Sumatra and another half from Kalimantan.
