Farmout Forum Indonesia features 7 blocks

The government is holding an event today (Thursday) in Bandung, West Java, featuring seven oil and gas blocks, including two discovery blocks, whose owners need new investors as partners to share risks and results.

?The event is an opportunity for investors or PSC holders to meet on the possibility of jointly exploring the oil and gas blocks," Upstream Director at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Djoko Siswanto said during the event.

There are five companies owning a total of seven blocks participating in the event. Some of the blocks are still in exploration stage, others have made discovery and are in the Plan of Development (PoD) phase. The discovery blocks include Batu Gajah PSC and Bone PSC.

The blocks featured at the FFI 2013 include as follows:
1. East Seruway PSC (KrisEnergy),
2. Bala-Balakang PSC (KrisEnergy)
3. Kutai PSC (KrisEnergy)
4. Belayan PSC (PT Geraldo Energy),
5. Bima Sakti PSC (PT Bima Sakti Energi Indonesia),
6. Bone PSC (Mitra Energy),
7. Batu Gajah PSC, (Ranhill Jambi Pte. Ltd.)
