Federal bags $20m pipe order for Ruby gas field

Singapore-listed firm Federal International (2000) Ltd reported that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, PT Fedsin Rekayasa Pratama, has clinched a contract worth US$20 million to supply carbon steel line pipes and seamless bends to Pearl Oil (Sebuku) Ltd for an offshore gas field project known as the Ruby Field Development Project in SEbuku PSC in Kalimantan.
Based on the current delivery schedule, Pratama is expected to complete the transaction within 10 months from July 2011.
The field is expected to become onstream in 2013 with production target of 100 MMCFD.
Pearl has 70 percent interest in the block with the balance held by French giant Total SA. (alex)
