Federal completes first Indonesian marine pipeline project

Singaporean services company Federal International (2000) Ltd announced on Wednesday that its indirect 65% subsidiary Geo Link Nusantara Pte Ltd has completed its first marine offshore pipeline installation project in Indonesia.
The US$4.06 million fast-track offshore pipeline installation project for PT. Pertamina & Gas (Pertagas) was executed by PT. Geo Link Nusantara with project management by GLN and PT. Dewirahmi (Dera).
The 16-km, Zone I East Java Gas Pipeline (EJGP) natural gas pipeline project entailed the free span rectification work which required grout bags and mattress support.
In December 2007, Federal together with its JV partner PT. Gasuma Corporindo, established a JV company which was given the mandate to build an integrated gas processing and power plant on a ?BOO? basis in Tuban, East Java, at a cost of US$25.9 million. (alex)
