The front end engineering design (FEED) for the proposed floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility for the gas-rich Masela Block, in the Timor Sea, operated by Inpex Corp, is expected to be completed in February of 2014, according to upstream authority SKK Migas.
SKK Migas Deputy for Operation Control, Muliawan told Petromindo.com Friday that the bid document for the EPCI work is still being drafted, and hopefully to be ready for discussion and review in April of this year.
Inpex is planning to build a floating LNG plant in the Masela Block, in Maluku, with initial capacity of 2.5 mtpa.
